Frequently Asked Questions

Can I pay by EFTPOS?

No unfortunately you can't as I don't have those facilities enabled.  I try to keep my overheads as low as possible so that you pay the lowest possible price for your treatments.  CASH is the best solution for this, otherwise if you're an existing client, you can direct bank deposit the money PRIOR to your treatment.

How long do the sessions go for?

The first session can go up to 45 mins.  Subsequent sessions will go for between 20-30 minutes depending on the condition I'm treating.

How many sessions will I have to have?

There is nothing worse than a health professional trying to drum up repeat business!!

With me, the amount of sessions you have is entirely up to you! You know what you need and just as important, what you can afford.  I will make a recommendation to you based on the treatment you've just had and how you've told me that you're feeling before and directly after the treatment.  I will never push you to make further appointments.

It is common to only have only a couple of treatments and feel such great benefits that you don't feel the need to book in for another appointment.  Just remember for chronic conditions, it took many years to build this crazy little creature called pain - you may need a few treatments to send him packing!!

Does it hurt?

The ENAR doesn't hurt at all.  I regulate the power according to your level of comfort.

We are all different and therefore have different pain tolerance levels.  I will continue to ask you how you're feeling throughout the treatment to ensure the impulses of the ENAR are felt but you are not experiencing any discomfort at all.

What does it actually feel like?

People describe the ENAR as tingly or slightly prickly.  Most clients like the sensation.

What if I need to cancel?

Let me know real quick so I can offer someone else a chance to relieve their discomfort.

There is no cancellation fee at this stage - however if it happens a lot without notice, I may have to change this practice :(

What should I wear?

It doesn't really matter as I have lovely fresh white robes to put on.  Otherwise loose fitting pants are good, particularly around the lower leg and those that can be loosened at the waist so I can brush the ENAR right down to your tail bone area.

Can my friend/relative stay with me while I have my treatment?

Absolutely!  We love friends and relatives to come and visit with you!!

Can children have an ENAR Therapy session?

Yes, of course.  Remember it was my daughter who I was treating originally.  Children benefit in the same ways that adults do.  If they are old enough to tell me how they're feeling then we work with that, if they're too young to tell me, I simply put the ENAR on a very low setting or it's  lowest setting (1 out of 250 power clicks).  The effects of the ENAR will still come through at a deeper level even if the little one doesn't feel anything at the skin level.

How will I feel after an ENAR Therapy session?

Amazing!  My clients tell me that the ENAR treatment made them feel energised and alive but most importantly it made them feel BETTER than they had in a very long time!!

In the case of cold and flus, it is simply a matter of you going through the process of the cold/flu at a much faster pace (usually over a cold/flu within a few days rather than a week or two).

In the case of some Chronic conditions, eg back dysfunction - it has happened occasionally that the client has felt worse many hours afterwards.  This has happened because the ENAR session has worked years and years of back ache up to the surface for you to begin dealing with instead of just adding more back ache to the pile.  In cases like these, I would have already recommended that you book another session a few days after the first one to combat this concern.  Please read the documents on the "What are the facts" page for further information.

Please see the Smiling Faces page to view the testimonials of some of my clients.

Has any research been done on the ENAR?

Yes there certainly has, the ENAR has been documented by the Macquarie University Centre For Health & Chiropractic.  ENAR has also featured on A Current Affair.  Please open the Research document on the "What are the facts" page for more information.

What does it mean to have the ENAR TGA listed?

" Introduction

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) is a division of the Australian Department of Health and Ageing. Its principal role is as the national regulator of therapeutic goods - a collective term covering medicines, medical devices and some related products. the TGA administers the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989, the objects of which include 'a national system of controls relating to the quality, safety, efficacy and timely availability of therapeutic goods that are used in Australia, whether produced in Australia or elsewhere, or exported from Australia'. These activities are fully funded by fees charged for assessments, annual registrations and inspections.

Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods

The lawful supply of any therapeutic good in Australia requires that the product is included on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG). There are two types of entry on the ARTG. Some products are 'registered' and have an AUST R number on their label. Other products are 'listed' and have an AUST L number. the TGA decides if products are suitable for listing or require registration. Manufacturers are not permitted to suggest or imply in their advertisements that inclusion in the ARTG is a recommendation or endorsement by the TGA."
